Bread an' Lard Island - West Bridgford Place name Coaster

Bread and Lard Island is an old name for West Bridgford, more commonly used by people who lived in The Meadows (an area on the other side of the River Trent from West Bridgford) on account of the Bridgford folk living in big houses, but only being able to live on bread and lard.
