A LAST DITCH ATTEMPT TO SAVE MY BUSINESS
Ayup, Heidi ere. Some of you will have probably seen out socials recently. I'm on a campaign to try and save my business, so I thought I'd put everything on here in one post, so that you can keep up to date with where we're at. Strap in, me Ducks. It's a bumpy ride!
Day 1 of trying to save my business.
Meta has completely f*cked over small businesses. For some reason, they don't want anyone with a small business to succeed.
I don't have 5 hours a day to create content that's only going to be seen by 5 to 10 people.
Our business is failing, not because there isn't the demand for our products, but because the right people just aren't seeing our posts.
I wasted £5 per day on a Meta ad last month and got 8 orders, averaging at a £32 cost per click. What an absolute joke.
And all this stress is making me not want to do it anymore. This job I once loved, having started with £50 in the bank 12 years ago, has become a massive millstone around my neck, that I feel stuck with. All because my audience is so restricted now.
So this is my last ditch attempt to try and get seen by some new customers, before I give up and get a "proper job"
This isn't a side hustle, this is my only source of income. I don't have a wealthy spouse who pays for everything whilst I do my little hobby. It's just me, trying keep a roof over our heads. I'm tired
